Family Holiday Activities
Make, play and explore together in our Family Activities!
Our next family activities will be in the Feb Half Term holidays – keep watching this space or join our mailing list to find out what’s coming up soon.
Activities are aimed at families with children aged 4-12yrs, but all are welcome. (We also run seperate Early Years sessions for 0-4yrs, find out more about these here!) The workshops are drop-in; but we encourage you to book a space for your session as spaces are limited.
Sessions run on Tue, Wed and Thu during the school holidays, 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm.
On Wed afternoons 1pm-3pm, we run Sensory SEND sessions. These are lower stimulation sessions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including neurodivergent individuals – and their families. These sessions are for families who feel this environment would be more suited to them, whether you have a diagnosis or not.
You are always welcome to visit the gallery when our activities are not on. You can pick up one of our Family Explorer bags, or Sensory bags to help your family explore the galleries together.

Entry to our exhibitions, events, fairs and our family activities is free but we need your support. Your donations make it possible to keep doing everything we do: from our world-leading exhibitions to our activities for families, young people and schools. With your support we can continue making a difference to the cultural, educational and social life of Nottingham and the East Midlands.
