Agnieszka Polska’s 2013 film Future Days presents an imaginary, endless afterlife inhabited by dead artists and theorists. Selected for the mythologisation which surrounds them, the characters presented reflect art historical figures who resisted easy categorisation. Using fragments of documentation and fictionalised interviews Polska presents the futility of creativity in a desolate landscape.

In this live performance of Future Days, Polska in collaboration with curator Sebastian Cichocki, invoke the artists referenced within.

With special thanks to the TV Workshop, Nottingham.
