The Country and the City: Songs of Rank and Rebellion
Bow Belles String Quartet will be performing alongside the Nottingham Clarion Choir to present the other side of the Grand Tour with words and songs of the people’s resistance and rebellion in the 19th century. Referencing land ownership, revolution, and the Chartist and Luddite movements, their performance will be juxtaposed with music of the aristocracy during the same period.
