Nottstopping Festival: Inventive Art! Workshop with Diana Ali

Working quickly and spontaneously with art materials from around the house, you can drop in and out of this workshop as you please. It will be inventive, fun and maybe messy – depending how much you let yourself go – use paper, pencils, charcoal and what ever comes to hand, even food!

Born in Manchester, to Bengali parents, Diana Ali is a Nottingham-based artist who explores fictional narratives through drawing, experimental photography, installation and direct animation. The stories she documents are about political responses and reactions, cultural and language boundaries, human interactions; bringing different fragments of cultures into one space.
