What’s it all about?

At this event series we will be gathering young people, experts, campaigners, movers and shakers who will be bringing their ideas and projects to share with young people from across Nottingham who want to be part of the action to address the climate crisis and social justice in our city. We will hear from Nottingham Youth Climate Assembly youth panel who set out their manifesto at Nottingham’s first climate assembly in 2022. You can see the manifesto and read about the project here . Since then, the NYCA team have been campaigning and connecting with organizations, political and business leaders across Nottingham to see the manifesto come to reality. 2023 is all about creating even more opportunities to build on this and to empower young people to be at the heart of the change.

At this event we will hear from:

- Nadia Whittome MP

- Nottingham Climate Assembly

- Fridays for Future Nottingham

- Keeping it Wild – Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust

- The Pythian Club

… and come together to create a shared action plan for young people for Nottingham in 2023.

We invite representatives from youth groups and organizations who work with youth to be part of this meeting.
