Film Screening and Panel Discussion: 1 in 4 and Terms of Love
Presented in association with the Loudspeaker Conference, join us for the screening of two films made by local filmmakers: Carol Savage, Beth Smith and Donna Bowyer, which explore the often hidden world of domestic violence.
The documentary ‘1 in 4’ (60 minutes) debunks some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding domestic abuse. Followed by the short drama ‘Terms of Love’ (25 minutes), which follows the story of Jess, a promising young student whose life spirals out of her control after she begins a relationship with the domineering and manipulative Dan.
The screenings will be followed by a short Q&A with the production team.
