Titled Artery, this will be the first institutional solo show in the UK by Canadian artist Allison Katz. Katz's work abounds in puns, language games and formal slippages – as she says, “I want to emphasise the non-order of things, from inside to out”. The paintings will be installed among and behind a series of angled walls, apertures and peepholes. Artery includes new and recent works, a number of which Katz made in London during lockdown, and explores questions of intimacy without touching, circulation and slowness.
