In this interactive workshop turn social, we will explore our own identities by imagining spaces we each call our own, and collectively creating Queerville - a world which could better benefit us in our expression.

We’ll combine crafts and chats, using exercises to get you hands-on as conversation starters. We’ll be using simple materials, from paper to glitter and plasticine to visualise ideas so don’t worry - no art skills are needed.

If you feel like sharing, we’ll be fostering a safe space of active listening throughout so that everyone feels seen and heard. If you’re after a quiet activity, you’re very welcome to join in with the crafts only.

By the end of the event, you’ll leave with a greater understanding of yourself and others' lived experiences and hopes for the future, and perhaps a creative item for your windowsill to represent your own Queerville ideas.

Any people of LGBTQIA+ and questioning identities are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Zesty’s Collective is a group of queer Nottingham people wanting to explore alternative events which hold queerness at the heart, away from noise, substances, need for spending or nightlife.
