1525 Rest & Resources

1525 Collective is a group of young people that meet up regularly at Nottingham Contemporary. They shape and help run programmes of events whilst developing their individual and collective practices, along the way. For the time being, 1525 programming has been paused. Keeping in mind 1525’s ambition to take on issues that matter to young people, the collective spent their last few sessions discussing how lockdown has impacted them as individuals, with a view to creating a document to provide support for young creatives in Nottingham during this period.

So, 1525 would like to redirect you to the resource compiled since lockdown in this google document. It is tailored to help young creatives in Nottingham but includes lots of other general information too. It includes details about support networks and mutual aid, wellbeing, free culture and education online, open calls and opportunities and more.

Conversations within 1525 that lead to the creation of the document continually returned to themes of wellbeing; lifting spirits, re-aligning priorities and time management in lockdown. The document is designed to encourage creativity to continue blossoming during lockdown. It is important we continue to support and care for one another in any way we can during this global pandemic. We are hopeful this document will contribute.
