Transport

Rather than driving, we would encourage you to use some of the many public transport options available.

We are centrally located in Nottingham, on the edge of the historic Lace Market area.

We are six minutes’ walk from Nottingham Railway Station (click here for directions), which runs services to and from London, Liverpool, Norwich, Lincoln, Sheffield, Leicester, Derby and many more places. Click here to find out more.

Alternatively we are only a three-minute walk from the Lace Market tram stop. The tram serves Beeston, Bulwell, Clifton, Hucknall, Hyson Green, QMC, Wilford and City Centre. The tram has seven Park & Ride locations with free parking at each. Click here to find out more.

Nottingham City Centre can be reached by many bus routes. Click here to plan your journey.

We have bicycle racks at the front of our building.

Nottingham City Council has more than 200 e-scooters, available for both short-term and long-term hire. Click here to find out more.

During your visit

Bring a bag: if you do want to buy something from our shop then we would encourage you to provide your own reusable bag to help us cut down on our plastic consumption.

We reuse and recycle our exhibition guides and brochures, so please leave behind anything you don’t plan on keeping.
