Get Involved 17

What is Get Involved 17?

Get involved 17 is a youth led programme for 13 to 17 year olds that encourages participants to design their own activities and events at Nottingham Contemporary.

The programme supports young people, building their confidence and developing their skills and experience to enable them to achieve a Silver or Gold Arts Award.

The programme includes:

An introduction to Get Involved 17 and Nottingham Contemporary - the space, staff, organisation and our programmes.

The opportunity to share ideas for events and activities at Nottingham Contemporary which will engage other young people.

A 10 week gallery training programme which covers all aspects of gallery work including marketing, event organising, administration, IT, exhibitions, education and public programmes.

An invitation to young people to apply for the Gallery Training and Silver Arts Award. On completion of Gallery Training we provide the professional guidance, experience and knowledge to deliver events and activities for young people.

The chance to design and organise three events per year at Nottingham Contemporary.
