Our workshops for schools and colleges are led by our experienced Associate Artists: Gillian Brent, Jo Dacombe, Chris Lewis-Jones and Sian Watson. They are tailored for primary, secondary, special needs and further education students.
Exploring Art Workshops
Our artists can work alongside you and your students to explore the galleries and to reflect and share responses through discussion and group activities. The artist will also support your group to respond in a creative, hands-on activity within our Learning Studio.
Literacy through Art Workshops
You asked. We responded - by creating a series of activities to support literacy and communication skills using our exhibitions as a stimulus. Activities help pupils express opinions, compose poems and develop their speaking and listening skills and can be adapted to all key stages.
Behind the Scenes
A special opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at Nottingham Contemporary as we prepare for our new exhibition. Peek through windows and explore our building, then get hands on with an Artist–led workshop and design your own exhibition
