Schools Celebration Event

1000  people attended our Schools Exhibition on 23rd March 2012

Since September 2011, Nottingham Contemporary has been working on a special collaboration with 12 City Schools. Over 3000 pupils and teachers have visited the gallery and taken part in artist workshops based on our  exhibitions.

On the 23rd March we held  a very special exhibition by our  Partnership Schools and over 1000 people came.  The event was held at Nottingham Contemporary in the Space. There were  photographs, maps, tents, collage,  a walkthrough village, light installations and films from all the 12 partnership schools. Screens around the gallery showed images of the children involved.
