Nottingham Contemporary presents: Dark Christmas
8 December 2017, 7pm – Midnight
£35 per-person (Including food)

Inspired by seasonal stories from Scandinavia in a haunting setting with live music, visuals and performances. Enjoy live music from The Great Malarkey and 94 Gunships, as well as a theatrical performance by LaPelles Factory. We will be serving Nordic inspired street food, spiced cake and Glögg. Costumes optional but encouraged! Think Krampus meets A Christmas Carol...

94 Gunships: Formed in 2013 by the song writing duo of Rob Davidson and Will Jeffery; 94 Gunships’ alternative folk and blues mix intricate guitars, rasping heartfelt lyrics and pulsing percussion to craft songs which will burrow into your psyche

The Great Malarkey: With hallmarks of raucous and energetic live shows, The Great Malarkey’s folk-punk-blues takes influence from Tom Waits, The Pixies, The Pogues and Beirut. Bringing their whole heart to every performance this band do not disappoint.
