Bulwell Connectors: Art for Everyone

Do you live or work in Bulwell? Have you got a passion for your community? Can you dedicate just 2 hours per month to help make Bulwell a better place to visit, live and work?

Bulwell Connectors is a new group that seeks to promote and plan Art in public places in Bulwell. From one-off events to permanent public art pieces, we are seeking members to join us to explore art and culture in Bulwell, why it’s important and how we can have more of it!

With support from Gillian Brent (Nottingham Contemporary Associate Artist) you can get involved in: creative, hands on workshops; free and fun group trips to galleries, museums and heritage venues; developing your creative skills; building confidence of the arts and culture sector, and creating a legacy for the Bulwell area.

Come along to our first session on Tuesday 12th September from 6 - 8pm to find out more (Community Room 2), Bulwell Riverside. We will then meet regularly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (times tbc).

All are welcome; you do not need any previous experience of commissioning art or any project work – just a willingness to get involved!

With support from Bulwell Arts Festival, Nottingham City Council, Arts Council England, Rebalancing the Outer Estates Foundation and Nottingham Contemporary, you will be supporting Creative Nottingham North provide opportunities for people to become participants, audiences and co-producers for their local area.
