Less about the ocean as it actually is, but rather about how it lives in our heads, works focused on the deep as a site of shared myths, science fiction narratives, subconscious fears, and unnamed desires. The exhibition took place between 20 July and 22 September 2013. It was a collaboration between Nottingham Contemporary and Tate St Ives, Cornwall - where it subsequently toured.
