Travel Information

Travelling on the free coach

If you are not travelling by train to Nottingham, then please make your way to upper Mount Street (opposite the restaurant 4550 miles from Delhi) for a 11.00 pick up

Travelling from London by train

In order for you to meet the coaches at the allotted time please ensure that you book on the correct trains. We recommend the following:

 

Depart London St Pan  08.30               Arrive Nottingham        10.27

Depart Nottingham      20.30               Arrive London St Pan   22.43

 

A Nottingham Contemporary representative will meet the 10.27 arrival from London in the main hall outside WH Smith and escort all to the coach pick up point. If you are not at the train station meeting point by 10.40 then you will need to get a taxi to Laxton (taxi rank at the station)

 

Travelling by car

Refreshments

Upon arrival there will be a hot pig roast served at £8.50 per head. This includes; roast pig, Lincolnshire sausage, apple sauce, 5 salad choices, potatoes, bread roll and a soft drink. There will be a choice of quiche as a vegetarian option.  

 

Please ensure you bring cash for payment of lunch. Note: this will be the only opportunity during the day to have a full meal on site.

 
A cash bar will operational during the evening event. Free Tea and cakes will be served in the afternoon and The Dovecote Inn Pub is nearby.

Please note the village of Laxton is some 24 miles from Nottingham and 19 miles from Newark
