Newling, John

John Newling lives in Nottingham, and is Emeritus Professor of Installation Sculpture at Nottingham Trent University. He was born in Birmingham, and studied at North Staffordshire Polytechnic, Chelsea College of Art & Design and Wolverhampton University before being awarded the first Fulbright Fellowship in Visual Art in 1985.  He has installed works across Europe and the USA as well as realizing large scale commissioned artworks in the public realm.
