Crowley, David

David Crowley is a historian specialising in 19th and 20th century Eastern Europe, particularly Polish art and architecture and Cold War Modernism in architecture and graphic art. He has published a number of books on Eastern Europe, including Warsaw (2003) and Socialist Spaces (2002). He was consultant curator of Modernism: Designing a New World, 1914-1939 and Cold War Modern Design 1945-1970, both at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
