Who Would Be Free Themselves Must Strike the Blow

Shadow Sistxrs Fight Club

20 Jan 2019

2-4pm

Take part in an apocalypse survival school, using queer, astrological herbal wisdom, song/storytelling, and re-interpreted ancient crafts for an optimystically dystopian view on survival.

Specifically catered for Young People between the ages of 15-25 years old, this workshop will focus on herbal knowledge for toxin/digital cleansing, and collectively re-forming myths.

Using games and movement, the workshop aims to help participants see themselves as part of an inter- connected web, that our bodies and energies are independent, yet the syngery between them is vital for a positive, co-existing future.

Nottingham Contemporary's Youth Programme is funded by The Garfield Weston Foundation.

This event is part of the gathering Who Would Be Free, Themselves Must Strike the Blow. See the full programme here.

Free. Booking Required.
