Poetry Workshops For Adults

£25 or £15 concessions

03 Dec 2009 - 17 Dec 2009

Three poetry writing workshops will look at the aesthetic principles of form, fragment, and line as they resonate in works by David Hockney, Frances Stark, Walt Whitman, and Emily Dickinson. Each workshop will begin with a writing exercise and be followed by a short lecture on a given theme.

This series of poetry writing workshops will be led by poet Éireann Lorsung. Éireann organises the Nottingham Poetry Series and her writings have appeared in numerous international books and journals.

Nottingham Contemporary’s Poetry Workshop for Adults is open to anyone, however places are limited and booking is essential. One booking reserves your place at all three sessions.
