Farmyard and Mantra Promotions Present From Notts With Love
The first of a series of events that will celebrate the wealth of musical talent walking the streets of Nottingham.

Natalie Duncan - Over the past few years Natalie has become the musician’s “musician” in Nottingham, respected and admired by all. She started off on the open mic scene in 2007 and her fantastic piano playing, stunning vocals and timeless, classic songwriting secured her a record deal with Universal in 2011. Nat recently featured on Goldie’s latest hit, Freedom, released to celebrate 10 years of his label, Metalheadz. The single was recently made Mistajam’s ‘Jam Hot’ of the week and she has recently recorded for Magnetic Mans forthcoming album.

With national press queuing at her door, Natalie’s debut album ‘Devil In Me’ is later this year produced by Grammy award-winning producer Joe Henry, recorded at the internationally renowned Real World Studios.

Liam Bailey – Known for co-writing Chase & Status’ Top 5 smash: “Blind Faith feat. Liam Bailey”, Liam’s initial introduction to the music business came via the late Amy Winehouse who, after meeting him, released his first 2 EPs on her Lioness Records imprint. Amy first heard Liam’s music through a mutual friend and acclaimed producer Salaam Remi, who, amongst others, is working with Liam on his debut album.

After sending DJ Jason Kramer 2 demo’s just before Christmas Liam was immediately featured as their “Artist You Should Know” and has just returned from 3x sold USA headline shows.

Liam’s new single “When Will They Learn” to be released on Ministry of Sound Recordings later this year.

Chris McDonald – Chris McDonald makes acoustic guitar music which is a mixture of folk and soul, his songwriting somewhere between Fink and Laura Marling with touches of Mumford and Sons, the ambience of Bon Iver and the vocal brush of The Fleet Foxes, Patrick Watson and Ray Lamontagne.

Chris has supported Pete Doherty, had songs described as 'absolutely gorgeous' by radio 6's Tom Robinson and had a co-write with Liam Bailey at number 1 in the playlist of LA’s biggest radio station, KCRW. The song was described by Zane Lowe as 'proper, modern soul'.

Harleighblu – This lady doesn't need much of an introduction as her soulful vibes and huge talent have catapulted her into the group of artists who are adored by all Notts music fans. Recent work with Joe Buddha about to drop and her live band ever expanding and ever improving – 2012 is going to be a great year!

Nina Smith – 25 year old soulful pop singer-songwriter, Nina Smith, is among the most talked about artists on the Nottingham music scene described by press as ‘A natural talent with an addictive personality’ and ‘One of the most exciting new talents in the East Midlands’. Nina has supported artists such as Belinda Carlisle, Finley Quaye and Alicia Dixon, has recorded sessions broadcast on Radio 1 and 1Xtra and has worked with a host of top acts.

Tim McDonald - Tim McDonald's music is a restless mix of Rufus Wainwright's epic, string-based songwriting, acoustic songsmiths such as Johnny Flynn and M Ward, combined with a world music influence and darker electronic Thom Yorke elements.

"The sort of music Mumford and Sons should be making" - Alt Sounds
