Get Involved 17 will run their own 'Market of ideas' where each stall will offer something creative in exchange for your creativity and ideas.
On the day they will create the sound and feeling of a market. Each group member will have their own event within the market stalls offering amazing activities including:
An interactive map of the entire event. Members of the public are invited to contribute by making a model of themselves from materials provided and place themselves on the map, where they can write their thoughts about the 'Market of ideas' and the exhibitions by Wael Shawky and Huang Yong Ping
The Human Jukebox - A stall will present music of your choice in reward for creativity. Draw for a tune; perform for a song!
This is a one-off chance to take part in a spontaneous exchange of ideas, secrets, music and art. Where it's revision blues or holiday boredom, make your getaway to an underground market where ideas are currency and inspiration is free. Drop in through out the day to take part, as well as catching some short films and a special surprise at 2pm.
The Space, Nottingham Contemporary, 11am - 4pm.
This event has been organised and promoted by Get Involved 17. Nottingham Contemporary's youth led programme.
