11am - 3pmGiant windscreen wipers? Tornados made form vacuum cleaners? Conjoined cactus? Yes, these are some of the artworks you can marvel at in our Klaus Weber exhibition.
The season’s first extravaganza will challenge you to come up with your own heady mix of ideas and invent some ingenious artworks. There will be vital information to find in the galleries, challenges to meet in the space, inventions to make together and in response to someone else.
We will be adding an extra special element to this season’s first extravaganza. We are launching a community resource created as part of a partnership project between Bulwell Community Toy Library and Nottingham Contemporary. On Saturday at 11.30pm there'll be a short introduction to this project and the chance to handle the resource and view the project images whilst making your artwork.
Nottingham City Libraries will also be joining us on Saturday with some treats from their library collection and a special activity.
It’s going to be great fun and we can’t wait to see you there!
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
