Haunted Karaoke

07 Oct 2010

Six established and emerging artists present solo works under a stark spotlight in The Space. Followed by a “haunted karaoke” party in the café bar. Selected by Simon Raven, the artists use music or comedy – sometimes both - to challenge the idea of entertainment. Aaron Williamson is a profoundly deaf artist whose version of My Way features a spade. Kirsten Norrie is a performance artist who makes experimental music. Jack Catling heads the London based Parlour Collective, who perform in galleries, museums, pubs and churches. Jenna Finch combines a punk sensibility with poetry. Sian Robinson Davies uses objects in place of language. And Brian Catling - poet, sculptor, and performance artist will also be participating.

Join them afterwards for drinks – then have a go at Haunted Karaoke yourself.

Free.
