Creative Photography Course

14 Feb 2012

Work with our Associate Artist Jo Dacombe on a one day practical course to explore the possibilities of creative digital photography, inspired by the Thomas Demand / Decolonising Architecture exhibition.

The course aims to build confidence and develop an individual way of approaching creative photography, covering creative composition, use of scale, how to use depth of field and responding creatively to architecture.

Suitable for beginners or those who want to take more inventive photographs! Participants should bring their own digital cameras if they have them, preferably cameras with a manual setting.

To book please contact Saima Kaur Saima@nottinghamcontemporary.org or phone her on 0115 948 9783.

Hi Saima - Your course sounds very intriguing. I am a complete beginner with digital cameras but accidentally took some stunning shots of Sydney's skyscapers earlier this year so I would like to learn how to do it on purpose. I have some wonderful shots of the Opera House too - amazing angles and shadows. I am hoping to go to China next so your course seems ideal if you think it is aimed at someone like me.
