Evening Tour: Gabriele Neher

Gabriele Neher is Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Nottingham. Her research and teaching focuses on different aspects of Renaissance history including the examination of the different ways people created art and used objects ca 1400-1600. She is particularly interested in the acquisition and use of objects, and how these objects were used, worn and displayed in particular places at a particular time. Gabriele has most recently written on Wolf Hall and Richard III via her blog Renaissance Issues and is currently involved in EMA15 – the first East Midlands Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, which will be utilizing innovative digital storytelling to uncover the ‘Hidden Stories of Venice’.
