Beginning with the broader meanings of caricature, a series of events considers the specific relationship between graphic media and political action - from nineteenth century satire to the contemporary graphic novel. Drawing out connections between Gillray and Rottenberg, it also focuses on the exaggerated body and the agency and representation of women in graphic media from the seventies to the present.
