Collabor-8 are back! After two successful curating workshops, we are bringing you a free, six week curating course led by Nottingham Contemporary's Exhibitions Team. The course will start on the 21st May and will run for 6 consecutive Mondays (expect for 28th May).

Here are some of the things you will be learning:

Week one (21st May)- Commissioning and working with artists
Week two (29th May)- Loans, collections and exhibition making
Week three (4th May) – Designing exhibition
Week four (11th May) – Feminist curating methodologies
Week five (18th May) – Curating alternative Spaces
Week six (25th May) - How do museum work?

All sessions run from 5-7pm at Nottingham Contemporary.

The course will be delivered by Irene Irene Aristizábal (Head of Exhibitions), Cedric Fauq (Assistant Curator) and our Director Sam Thorne.

Please note that you will have to commit to all six sessions, but we can be flexible in case you have to miss one or two.
