City of Miracles: Stories from the Crowd

A celebration of Nottingham Forest's glory years

19 Sep 2015 - 21 Sep 2015

City of Miracles: Stories from the Crowd is a celebration of the glory years of Nottingham Football in partnership with Nottingham City of Football.
As a preview to the eagerly awaited Nottingham made documentary film I Believe in Miracles, we will be staging a digital exhibition of film, photography and illustration from Nottingham Forest's glory years of 1979 and 1980, when the team won two successive European Cups under their legendary manager Brian Clough and his right hand man, Peter Taylor.
We're working with the Nottingham Post to capture fans' own images of the era, which will be projected at huge scale. Other material will include film of the European Cup coming into Nottingham, and images that capture the social history of the period, as well as an unseen trailer of the new film, made by director Jonny Owen at Nottingham's media centre Antenna, as well as specially created images of the European Cup era Forest team by leading sports illustrator Pete McKee.
Nottingham Forest's European Cup will also be in the building, along with a selection of iconic memorabilia.
Nottingham Forest in the Community and Nottingham City of Football will be here across the weekend to inspire Nottingham’s next generation of European Cup Winners with football activities and competitions.
Sat 19 - Mon 21 September
