Chris Matthews leads a Radical History walk, part of the Remember Revolution season
Take Part
In the run up to the opening of Nottingham Contemporary’s building five consultation groups have been set up. We want to raise awareness of our organisation, its mission and its activities, and to ensure that a wide range of potential audiences takes part in our development. We want to learn more about their needs and aspirations, helping us to put together a picture that we can respond to. The consultation groups help to shape our programmes and activities, ensuring we work with a broad range of partners and individuals.
Our consultation groups include:
Young People between the ages of 13 and 23, recruited from across Nottingham. They will include school, university and college students, together with people currently outside formal education.
Children from Nottingham schools, together with teachers in primary, secondary and special educational needs schools.
Education professionals from a wide range of formal and informal learning environments, ranging from nursery carers, teachers, community educators, university and college lecturers and educational researchers.
Regional artists and arts professionals from a wide range of arts and cultural disciplines, including the visual arts, music, performance, writers and designers.
Community advocates, leaders, activists and residents from some of Nottingham’s social regeneration groups.
If you are interested in taking part in any of these groups please contact the Education Team on 0115 924 2421, or email
