Ann Priest

Ann Priest was until August 2015 Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Head of College for Art, Design and Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University, a post which she held since 2009 following two years at NTU as Dean of Art and Design. Prior to moving to Nottingham, Ann was Dean at London College of Fashion (LCF) for 13 years. She is a former Chairman of the Textile Institute and member of the Executive Committee for International Federation of Fashion Technology Institutions. Ann has 30 years experience in the HE sector during which she advised on fashion and arts education nationally and internationally, for specialist institutions and wider stakeholder groups, which she continues to do.  Ann has been a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts since 1992, is a Fellow of the Textile Institute and has been a member of the Board of the Broadway Cinema and Media Academy since 2007. Ann is on the Board of Young Creatives Nottingham, and an Honorary Professor of Nottingham Trent University.
