Dianne Arbus is without doubt one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. Her work - often derided at the time - still impresses and inspires students today. Her sometimes unflinching and direct approach created some iconic images - the boy with the toy hand grenade in Central Park for example. This is one exhibition not to be missed. Diane Arbus is really important as she was making work at a time when the ability to communicate the diversity of the world was less important than gender.
